Itanagar: RGU goes live with Biometric Attendance system

In pursuance to the directives of Ministry of Human Resource Development, New Delhi, the biometric attendance system starts operational from today in Rajiv Gandhi University ( RGU ) .
Vice-Chancellor Prof. Saket Kushwaha inaugurated and led the fingerprint data capturing session of employees this morning at Registrar’s office.
The session was joined by Pro-Vice-Chancellor Prof. Amitava Mitra, Registrar in-charge Prof. Tomo Riba, Librarian Dr. M. Maltesh, Joint Registrar (Academic) Dr. David Pertin, Joint Director (Computer Centre) Tsering Megeji, other senior administrative officers and all the employees on roll.
The Vice-Chancellor at the sideline of the inaugural observed that it is a welcome step towards digitalization and is an effort towards enhancing the work culture in the University.
