Itanagar: National voluntary blood donation day observed
National voluntary blood donation day-2018 observed at golden jubilee state banquet hall in Itanagar.

The doctors and nurses are treated as next to god and their their behaviours should be one of the best in the society so that the patient who visit to them become fit and fine and feel happy at the earliest, said local MLA Techi Kaso today.
Kaso was addressing the function organised on the occasion of National voluntary blood donation day-2018 at golden jubilee state banquet hall here as chief guest.
Kaso said that blood donor are treated as god but few year back it was professionalised by few and it have been replaced by the dedicated donors of state who now a days think for other. Really it is a fact that man have everything but it is a matter of pride what one can donate others like blood and other parts of body for another, so that life of one can be saved.
Blood have only one colour and it is presence in all human body so the blood once donated by anyone can be used by whom it cannot be said but it’s have a great importance as it saves ones life during the pregnancy, accident, operation, to patient of cancer and others.
Director (Health) Dr. M Lego, Programme organiser and National Health Mission, Nodal Officer Dr. Nabam Budh, Arunachal Pradesh state aids control society Project Director Dr. Rekar Riken Rina, Arunachal Vivekananda Yuva Shakti Chairman Rameh Jike among other address the gathering.
Several eminent personalities associated with blood donors programme were felicitated which include Pasighat NGO Chairperson Ayang Taloh, Oju welfare Association of Naharlagun Chairperson Ratan Anya, AVYS Chairman Ramesh Jike, Dr. VN Sharma, NGO-I Love Arunachal and other on the occasion by the dignitaries.
Arunachal Pradesh state Legal Service Authority (APSLSA) Member Secretary Budhi Habung, CRPF Asstiant commandant, students from Government Higher Secondary School Itanagar, students of RK Mission Nursing School, North East Nursing College of Health Science and other attendee the function and also take part in blood donation programme which was organised on the occasion at the premises.
A souvenir published by AVYS Chairman Ramesh Jike based on the activities of the blood donation in Arunachal Pradesh was released on the occasion by the chief guest.
