Itanagar: Capital police nab robbers, recover looted items
Capital Police on Thursday cracked a robbery case and recovered all the items looted by the robbers. The robbery was attempted in Nirjuli area when around four miscreants barged into a CSP of SBI to commit theft.

The Capital police on Thursday nabbed two robbers instantly, and Seized their Vehicles used for robbery and also recovered the robbed items, informed Tumme Amo, SP Capitla Complex.
According to SP, yesterday at 3:40 pm, a verbal complaint was received from Chukhu Tulu, the owner of a customer service point (CSP) of SBI located at opposite side of Govt. Sec. School, Nirjuli that a group of four unknown persons forcefully entered into his office and took away CPU, printer and finger print device of his office in their vehicle (red Scorpio) bearing regd no AR-01G-4085.
Accordingly, the duty officer ASI K Tacha and ready party immediately rushed to the spot and arrested two persons namely Nabam Nega (25) resident of Sagalee, and Biki Hokap( 22 ) resident of Nirjuli.
The police party also recovered all the robbed items and seized their vehicle, a red colour Scorpio bearing R/No AR- 01G- 4085.
In this connection a robbery case vide Nirjuli PS Case No. 72/19 U/S 392/454/34 IPC has been registered and efforts are on to nab the remaining persons involved in the said robbery.
