Clean – Green Arunachal Campaign: 6000 sapling planted in Lohit
The vision of the campaign is to plant over one lakh sapling in the state and over 6000 sapling in Lohit district respectively within 24 hrs.

The Clean – Green Arunachal campaign-2019 launched here at the Digaru Range Forest by the Lohit Forest Division amidst the presence of Prince Dhawan, DC Lohit, Gulab Singh Chief Conservator of Forest and other officials.
Over hundred and fifty people from all walks of life took part where DC, CCF, SP, AC, DFO, NGO, AMSU, Gaon Buras and members from All Arunachal Pradesh Worker’s Union joined the plantation drive.

The prime motive of the campaign is to create awareness among masses for forest conservation and planting trees, as well as to build a clean and green Arunachal.
The DFO said that Ajhar, Simaul and Arjun species of seedling are selected in the Digaru Range Forest in order to protect and survive every seeding under protected area.
