Arunachal: Youth dies in Road accident in Nirjuli

A youth died in an road accident on National Highway-415 in Nirjuli Market line informed Capital SP Tumme Amo. The deceased has been identified as Bachi Yangfo, resident of Naharlagun.
SP inform that a report of hit and run case was reported at Nirjuli police station last night at around 10 PM and accordingly, Nirjuli police rush at place of occurrence located at Engineering Colony Tinali wherein one youth was seriously injured and later succumbed to his injury.
Nirjuli OC Tadu Hassang inform that ” on receipt of information, Nirjuli Police immediately rushed to the place and found that one Truck container trailer bearing registration No. HR-55T-9871 which was proceeding toward Banderdewa hit one Black coloured TVS Scooty without No. Plate.
After hitting the scooty, truck container dashed electric pole which has installed right side of the road and after that dashed one Gumti shop of owned by one Babul. The Gumti shop totally damaged along with its goods. The driver and handyman were also sustained injuries. The scooty rider was in very critical condition. He said.
All the Injuried persons were immediately evacuated at Tomo Riba Institute of Health & Medical Science (TRIHMS), Naharlagun for their medical treatment under police escort.
Scooty rider was identified as Bachi Yangfo, 32 yrs s/o Sri Tarang Yangfo of G-Extension, Damside, Naharlagun. He was later referred to Assam Medical College (AMC), Dibrugarh (Assam) from TRIHMS for his further treatment but succumb to his injuries on the way He said.
A case has been registered Vide Nirjuli Police station and Truck driver Rabat Ali, and Handyman: Abdul Khazir has been arrested after medical treatment.
After conducting all legal formalities the body of victim late Bachi Yangfo was handed over to the family members for conducting last rite. He inform.
The matter is under further investigation. OC Hassang added.
