A Plantation Programme was organised by Kamle times in collaboration with MAGIC Club Arunachal, Arunachal Mirror and Bharat Scout and Guides, at Govt. Higher Secondary School Raga Today.
DC and SP Kamle graced as special guests along with other dignitaries. Around 150 participants joined in the programme despite scorching heat and 170 saplings were planted in and around the GHSS, Raga.
DC Kmle, Moki Loyi, appreciated all the organisers for organising such a noble event, and urged all the youths to participate in events like this every now and then.
SP Kamle,, John Pada also expressed his happiness saying that the programme was one of a kind and one of the best initiatives taken up.
He said, as plantation is very much necessary at a changing time like this,Northeast still being a boom of oxygen producing reason with enough vegetation, before it succumbs we need to maintain it.
Principal I/c Ramesh Negi promised and asked students that extra-curriculum activities results will also include the adoption of saplings care and plantation compulsorily. Around 20 teachers of the school adopted two saplings each which they will maintain and take care.
Kamle Times and MAGIC Club Arunachal informed for the next programme that they will be targeting 1000 saplings and urged people of Raga, Kamle and Arunachal to do their own part and all will come in place.
