The theme of the dance was on ‘prevention of substance abuse’ which is a major concern for the society today. Nonang said that, the parents send their children to school for good education, imbibing good manners, nurturing of cultural values and to become a responsible citizen to look after their parents and the society.
But, some children get into the company of bad elements in the society and get swayed away into becoming drug addicts shattering their own future and the hopes of their parents.
Besides such children and their parents, the society too gets affected by the bad impacts of such elements and abuses.
