Arunachal: AYUSH Central team paid surprise visit to NEHMCH

Central team of Ministry of AYUSH paid surprise visit to the lone AYUSH Homeopathic Medical College- NEHMCH here on Tuesday.
The central team of AYUSH Ministry comprise of Assistant Director, Regional Research Institute (RRI) Kolkatta Dr. D. B. Sharkar, RBTS College, Muzaffarpur (Bihar) Professor Dr. A. B. Angar, Nehru Medical College, New Delhi Associate Professor Dr. Dhananajay Kumar Shukla visited early morning to the North East Homeopathic Medical College & Hospital located at Vivek Vihar and meet the faculty, administrative and non teaching staffs as well as technical staff of the college and its hospital.
They discussed about the functioning of the college with terms and condition of the Ministry. The team also visited all the department of the college and inspected the library, laboratory, OPD, IPD, classed and discussed with the intern students about the way and means to handling the patients. They said that doctors should be be treated as social workers and do the work of the humanity and society as well in the greater interest of health of the people.
The team members also meet its Chairman Bullen Teli and discussed about the functioning of the college in the interest of the public service and upliftment of education scenario of the state and nation. The team assured the support of the ministry in smooth functioning while chairman Teli also reciprocate the and affirm his commitment to run the college in smooth way with all facilities and technology.
