IT-enabled Survey Management System Goes online

Chief Minister Pema Khandu launched the online Survey Management System at Chief Minister’s Office in presence of Deputy Chief Minister Chowna Mein today to enable people’s participation in governance.
While launching the system, Chief Minister lauded the innovative idea and expressed happiness. He exuded hope that the people will actively participate in the survey in large numbers.
Deputy Chief Minister opined that the people’s participation in this online survey management system would keep the govt alert.
Chief Minister Khandu from the day one was advocating for an IT-driven system of governance. Taking forward his commitment to the people of Arunachal Pradesh, the Govt. of Arunachal Pradesh is introducing a survey management system which will allow people to participate in online survey on various developmental issues of the State.
The first survey deals with 3 main issues faced by the citizens of Itanagar-Naharlagun, viz. Traffic problems, Garbage Disposal and Road Conditions. Framing 11 questions within a light web-frame, this poll is the first step of the Chief Minister’s IT-driven governance which offers the citizens of Arunachal to take part in the governing process. Since the system is a web based tool and responsive for multiple device compatibility, the system can be accessed via a link through any mobile device or computer having an internet connection.
This system is completely ANONYMOUS and SECURE. To participate in the survey, citizens can log into – http://arunachalopinionpoll.in. The survey will remain open for one week.
Among others, MLAs Takam Pario and Bamang Felix were present on the occasion.
