The three days Modi Fest (Making of development India) programme kicked off from Friday at Kokrajhar Government Higher Secondary and Multipurpose school play ground here in Kokrajhar town.
The Fest is organised by the BJP Kokrajhar district committee, and inaugurated by BTC executive member Dhaneswar Goyary.
Convenor of Modi Fest Dipankar Nath said various programmes including art, essay, quiz competition will be organized for the students besides scheme films will be displayed during the three days programme.
He said the objective of Modi fest is to popularise and facilitate various welfare schemes of the BJP-led NDA government at the Centre initiated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
He said the BJP-led NDA government at the Centre has launched various schemes n the past three years and most of them are for upliftment of the poor such as Jan Dhan Yojana, Atal Pension Yojana, Jeevan Jyoti Beema Yojana and Digital India, etc which will be made facilitated during the Modi fest and help people access their benefits, he said.
President of Kokrajhar district BJP Bibhuti Borgoyary chaired the meeting which was attended by various senior district BJP members among others.
Meanwhile, President of Kokrajhar district BJP Bibhuti Borgoyary denied the BTC chief Hagrama Mohilary allegation made that BJP Kokrajhar district committee some of the works are collecting illegal money in the name of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojna scheme from common public’s it’s totally baseless statement made by the Hagrama.
