He stated that since we have very limited working period and already entering into the middle of the dry season, there is no time to be wasted. He cautioned that if no satisfactory works are visible in the next few days, no option will be left with the Department but to initiate appropriate action against the firm.
Feeling the pulse of the people, he said, “it is painful to see the road conditions that pass through the middle of the twin capitals of the State. I can feel the pain of the commuters especially of the patients and pregnant women who have to commute through this road in emergency”. He asked the M/s T K Engineering Consortium Pvt. Ltd. to complete the four-laning of road from Itanagar to Pappu-Nallah (Phase-I) by March 2019 as assured by them earlier.
Chief Engineer (Highway), Er T Basar, Executive Engineer (Highway), Nani Tath and representatives of M/s T K Engineering Consortium Pvt Ltd. attended the meeting.
