Arunachal: Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra virtually launched at Tawang
Dr. Veena Kumari Darmel, the district incharge for Viksit Bharat Sankalp, flagged off the IEC vehicle from the office.
TAWANG- A virtual launch event for the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra and the celebration of Janjati Gaurav Diwas was organized at the DC office. MLA Tawang, Tsering Tashi, and Dr. Veena Kumari Darmel, the district incharge for Viksit Bharat Sankalp, flagged off the IEC vehicle from the office.
This vehicle will travel 87 Gram Panchayat segments in Tawang district by January 23, 2024, carrying informational materials.

The journey began with a stop at Gyangkhar GP, where a documentary on Union Government’s developmental initiatives was screened. Additionally, beneficiaries of welfare schemes were honored, and their success stories recorded as ‘Meri Kahani Meri Zubani’.
The IEC van proceeded to Kyidphel GP, coinciding with the ongoing 3rd Seva Apke Dwar 2.0 event, inaugurated earlier by Public Leader Tenzin Monpa, EAC Kyidphel Tsering Choden, and other officials.
During the Seva Apke Dwar camp at Kyidphel, MLA Tsering Tashi highlighted the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra and Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision to develop India by 2047.

He welcomed Dr. Veena Kumari Dermal and urged her to explore other areas like Mago and Jemeithang on her next visit. Expressing gratitude, he pledged efforts toward achieving India’s development goals.
The event included cultural programs, certificate distributions, agricultural tool distributions, and DC Tawang’s donation of books to the Nahmed village community library. Public Leader Tenzin Monpa and DC Tawang Kanki Darang also addressed the gathering.
