Arunachal: AIIMS in Arunachal is in BJP Manifesto

The national BJP president also lauded chief minister Pema Khandu for providing the masses a politically stable state.

National BJP president Amit Shah today said that the BJP has proposed an AIIMS institute in the state, in its party manifesto.

Shah, who was addressing a mega BJP rally here, said that if the party is voted to power again then people in the state will no longer have to visit other states for quality medical treatment.

He also lauded the Pema Khandu government in the state and said that the state under him has generated more than Rs 900 crore as state’s revenue.

The national BJP president also lauded chief minister Pema Khandu for providing the masses a politically stable state.

Meanwhile, CM Khandu in his speech said that the development in the state in last five years have been historic, especially in surface, road and rail communication sector.

He added that only BJP has the potential to correct the culture of “appeasement politics” and wide spread corruption that has been the legacy of Congress government’s long tenure.

Khandu said that had there been a correct and clear policies under the Congress rule then bringing development for state’s 14 lakh population wasn’t a Herculean task.

He also informed that the government is trying to bring investments in the state through industrial policy which can address the problem of unemployment among youths. He, however, said that only those investment will be accepted which do not compromises the state’s natural endowment.
