Arunachal: 19-year-old arrested with 5 gram of heroin in Ziro
A 19-year-old youth has been arrested in ziro in possession 5 gram of heroin. He has been remanded to custody and the matter is being investigated.

Ziro police has arrested a youth in connection with drugs peddling with suspected 5 gram of Heroin, informed police sources.
Lower Subansiri SP Hemant Tiwari inform that as per concrete source, the Ziro Police has conducted raid in Medical Colony on Friday afternoon and apprehended one Youth, aged around 19 years resident of Kamle district and also recovered 5 gram of suspected heroin (drug) from his possession.
Tiwari said after receipt of information a team was constituted with Ziro PS OC Phassang Simi, ASI Inya Tato with support of Hapoli Bazar Welfare Committee (BWC) made surveillance and apprehended with 5 gram of Heroin and later he was arrested.
It is also informed that a case vide Ziro PS case No 37/19 u/s 22/27 of NDPS Act has been registered.
He has been remanded to custody and the matter is being investigated. Surveillance is being maintained to apprehend the drug peddlers and their source. SP added.
