“Innovation is born out of cultural excellence”- Dr. A.P.J Abdul Kalam, Innovation Day celebration at RGU.

On the occasion of the birth anniversary of visionary and well acclaimed proponent of Innovation India, Former President Dr APJ Abdul Kalam, Royal School of Engineering and Technology (RSET) and Royal School Of Information technology (RSIT) of Royal Global University celebrated innovation Day initiated by the MHRD innovation cell , Government of India. The event was attended by Prof. (Dr.) S.P Singh, Vice Chancellor, RGU; Prof (Dr.) Ashok Kumar, Dean of RSET& RSIT; along with students and faculty.
The event consisted of various competitions for students such as, spot slogan writing competition on the topic” Innovation for technology for a pollution free world” followed by “Innovative Idea contest” where students are to present their unique innovative idea to change the world and save the environment; students also gave presentation on “National Startup Policy”. The program was concluded with a song named “innovation” written and sung by the students of RGU.
The purpose of the event was to remind and encourage people to make use of their creativity to change the world and environment, as the former leader always envisioned.
