Arunachal: Mein projects Pema and Tapir as CM and Parliamentary candidates

Addressing the party workers, Arunachal Pradesh Dy CM, Chowna Mein said that the coming elections will be fought with Pema Khandu as the chief ministerial face and that there should be no confusion on that front. He also informed that the BJP state chief Gao will be the face of the party in the forthcoming parliamentary elections from Eastern Arunachal.

He was addressing the Mandal Coordination Meeting of the Bharatiya Janata Party of 46-Chongkham Assembly Constituency at the residence of local MLA Chow Tewa Mein at Alubari.

Mein exhorted party workers to gear up for the ensuing elections telling that everyone must stay in election mode. He expressed his happiness at the turn out of people during the meeting while underscoring the need to put in more efforts to better the coordination within the Mandal.

Also dwelling on the various central and state schemes the Deputy Chief Minister said that under Prime Minister Modi, the developmental landscape of the North East has completely changed. He said that if people invites him he is ready to visit any interior place to get a first hand experience of the development needs and issues inspite of busy schedule.

Tapir Gao spoke on various flagship schemes of the government both at the centre and state and emphasised on the need to dessiminate the programmes and policies so that the common men can benefit from these schemes. He said adding both central and state scheme beneficiaries the tital would be around four lakes in the state. Ago also said that the party and government does not tolerate corruption and as per law all violators shall be dealt with.

Gao also cleared the air regarding the National People’s Party  (NPP) saying that the BJP has no alliance with that party and that it will go solo to fight all sixty assembly and two parliamentary seats. The alliances with NPP in some North Eastern states were all post poll alliances.

Though he said the party was under NEDA but it does not amount to being political allies at all levels and stages. Chow Tewa Mein, MLA Chongkham, Chow Zingnu Namchoom, MLA Namsai ,Chow Sujana Namchoom, President BJP Namsai and Sri Tasaso Yun,veteran BJP karyakarta also spoke on the occasion.
