The ongoing Inter state Cultural Competition and food festival of Arunachal Pradesh & Assam to maintain peace and Co-Existence at Hollogi Arunachal & Assam Boundary Organised by Hollongi Youths getting momentum as the conclusion is nearing.
The sixth day of the event which was inaugurated on November 10th witness many cultural competition and traditional event which witness by the large numbers of the people of both side of the border on November 14.
Addressing the huge gathering the Bharatya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM) President Taring Tiri as chief guest said that the people of Arunachal and Assam are brothers and sisters and have been maintaining good relationship since then. Though we have divided in states but earlier we all were staying together under NEFA. Many traditional and cultural activities are similar on the border side of both state and know about each other even many matrimonial relationship have been established in the past.
Tiri encouraged and asked the organisers to conduct such more programmes in days to come for a better relationships of both the state as we know we have BJP government’s in both the states so there must be peace and prosperity in both the neighbours
He appeal the gathering to live in communal harmony and enjoy happy living
