TRIHMS celebrates 1st anniversary of Ayushman Bharat

Tomo Riba Institute of Health & Medical Science (TRIH&MS) celebrated first anniversary of launch of “Ayushman Bharat“ the flagship program of Central Govt.
Director of Family Welfare (DFW) Dr.A. Yirang in his address said that society will be healthy if everyone is fit and fine. To remain fit and fine everyone should take care of their health. The government is doing its best effort in the field of health sector as well as medical education.
He lauded the team effort of the officers, doctors and other para medical staffs to carry forward the duty with sincere effort and dedication so that the society is benefited a lot.
He appeal everyone to put their heart & soul to make this Ayushman Bharat program a successful for the benefit of general public.

He said that public health which is based on two pillars, firstly to achieve the goal of health for all or the universal health coverage through creation of Health & Wellness centre for provision of comprehensive primary healthcare and secondly Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojna now clubbed with Chief Minister Arogya Arunachal Yojna in Arunachal Pradesh.
Dr. L. Jampa, state epidemiologist apprised the house in depth regarding the importance of HWC (Health & Wellness Centre) which is an upgradation of already existing Sub centers & PHCs with posting of specifically trained Nurses as a Health and Wellness officer to deliver the comprehensive primary health care.
CMAAY, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Dr. Takum explained the detail provisions of PMJAY/CMAAY scheme which is being implemented in Tertiary Centres like TRIHMS, Naharlagun BPGH, Pasighat as well as outside state hospitals too. He also briefed several success story of the scheme in the service of the people of state so far rendered by TRIHMS and other in health facility delivery system.
Chief Medical Superintendent Dr. H. Ambing, Deputy MS Dr. Taw Kaki, Dr. Gomi Basar ( Nodal Officer, NCD TRIHMS) & Dr.R.Ram (Nodal Officer, NPHCE TRIHMS) amog other also address the gathering.
Dr. Devendr Sachdev (Associate Proff.), Subrato Nath ( Pharmacist) & Rubu Kapa (DEO) were felicitated for their selfless and untiring efforts in making the PMJAY/CMAAY successful in TRIHMS.
