The Governor of Arunachal Pradesh Brig. (Dr.) B.D. Mishra (Retd) has condoled the sudden demise of former Home Minister of the State Tako Dabi.
In his condolence message to Smt Miti Moyong Dabi, the Governor said that he is pained and grieved to hear the sudden passing away of her renowned husband Shri Tako Dabi the former Home Minister of Arunachal Pradesh. In his departure, the State has lost a Statesman, the society has lost an eminent worker and people have lost a great contributor to their welfare. His sudden demise has caused a great vacuum and an irreparable loss to the whole State in general and to the Galo Community in particular, he further said.
On behalf of the people of Arunachal Pradesh, my wife Smt Neelam Misra and on my own behalf, I convey our deep condolences to you and the members of the bereaved family. May Almighty Donyi Polo give you the fortitude to bear this bereavement and grant eternal peace to the departed soul, the Governor said in his message.
BJP, Arunachal Pradesh condole the death of Tako Dabi and termed him as man of state forward. A condolence programme which was held at the BJP headquarter today attended by several senior leaders and former Minister and MLA.
BJP President Tapir Gao said that his association was since 1984 when he was a teacher in Pasighat, later transferred to Changlang as a Headmaster and after he joined politic and won assembly election from Nari-Koyu and never turned back. He held several portfolios since then. He was one of the pioneer in creation of Lower Siang district. Gao termed his man of strait forward and his loss will never be filled up and time to come.
He prayed almighty to give enough strength to the family members in his absence to lead the family. Later one minute silence was also observed.
Arunachal Pradesh Congress Committee expressed its profound grief and deep sense of condolence on the untimely demise of veteran Congress leader Tako Dabi.
APCC in a condolence meeting held on 19th January 2018 at Rajiv Gandhi Bhawan, Itanagar observed two minutes silence and declared that the party flag will fly half mast in APCC office for two days from 19th to 20th January 2018 as a mark of respect & tribute to the great soul.
Lt. Dabi’s sincere and dedicated service for the Congress party in various capacities and his remarkable contribution for all round development of the State as a Speaker of Legislative Assembly and Minister shall always be remembered by the people of Arunachal Pradesh.
Takam Sanjoy, President APCC, recalled his close association with Lt. Dabi and described him as a vibrant leader and true Congress loyalist. He was a compassionate human being, people-friendly, man of discipline & principle, and a personality with a great political wisdom. A leader of great stature, his immense contribution to build the party in the State through its thick and thin, right from the grassroots level shall always be remembered by the party.” His death is an irreparable loss for the Congress party in particular and State as a whole.
APCC prayed to Almighty God for eternal peace of the departed soul and to bestow enough strength and courage to his family members during this difficult time of grief to bear with the irreparable loss cause to them.
