Arunachal: Puroik community conduct social service at Tomru Viilage

The youths and students of Puroik community today organise social service and cleared jungles at proposed site for their permanent settlement in Tomru Village, in Papumpare district of Arunachal Pradesh .
Puroik Welfare Board Vice Chairman Siji Nanu inform that large numbers of members of the community don’t have their home. They are scattered in East Kameng, Kurung Kumey, Kra Daadi and Papum Pare district and other part of the state. These members are facing lots of due to lack of their permanent home or land.
They have procured a peace of land measuring around 5 Hectors in Tomru Village in Doimukh Circle from one Nabam Yaniu which need to be allotted to them. The area have been demarcated properly by the official of the land branch of the district.
The Board have submitted a memorandum to Chief Minister on May 21 for settlement and logistic support. He further appeal the chief Minister Pema Khandu may hear their problems and do the needful for the greater interest of the community.
