Arunachal : police arrested 3 people illegally selling Ganja

Naharlagun police arrested three people from A sector on the charge of allegedly selling Ganja to young boys and girls in and around the capital complex.
Actually during the course of patrolling at Polo Park, SI S.S Jha and party found teenage boys were smoking ganja. On interrogation they revealed that they had bought the said substance from Harekmal basti near A-Sector, Naharlagun from the residence of one Mohan Sharma.
Accordingly a raid conducted at the said residence by Inspector Nikon Riba, OC PS Naharlagun, SI S.S Jha and party. During the raid police recovered around 4 kg of suspected NDPS substance . The alleged accused have admitted to be bought for being sold in the township area mainly to young boys and girls.
In addition to the alleged accused Mohan Sharma two other persons namely Md Alaludin, and Likha Serbi also we’re also arrested , who are engaged for packing and also consuming the seized suspected NDPS substances.
A case vide Naharlagun PS Case No-55/2018 u/s 20(b)/27 NDPS Act has been registered in this regard.
