Officer-in-charge C Joseph confirmed the incident and stated that the accused was arrested. The Ruksin police team promptly rushed to the scene of the crime and recovered the remaining body parts of the deceased. After completing the necessary legal formalities, the body was sent to the hospital for a post-mortem examination.
A case has been registered under Section 302 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) in connection with the incident.
