Arunachal: Local leaders, MLA fails to expedite TAH issue- Nani Ribia

The BJP Leader Nani Ribia  squarely accused several local leaders and  MLA Ziro, Tage Taki  for not playing their satisfactory role on TAH issue. here is the report.

BJP leader Nani Ribia alleged that Chairman and Secretary of land affected people forum of Ziro Valley, Nani Chatung and Mihin Doilyang are not expediting the issue.  Ribia has also blamed Padi Richo, a former minister for his repeated attempt to give a political colour to the said TAH issue. “If he really feels that injustice has been done to land affected people, then he should have not accepted his compensation at first”, further alleged Ribia.

Talking to Arunachal24 on TAH issue,  Ribia also accused present MLA  Tage Taki for the total failure in his administration in delivering justice to genuine land affected people of the district and Ziro in particular.

Ribia attend the meeting called by MLA  Tage Taki on  30th July, 2018 at Abotani Hall as a land affected person or as  victim of TAH land compensation.

Meanwhile, at present  the TAH Re-Verification process is going on in full swing from Potin to Bopi stretch by the fact finding team headed by Deputy Commissioner, Lower Siang District  AK Singh and Deputy Commissioner, Lower Subansiri district Chukhu Takar and their team of officials .

“I personally visited the site to gain firsthand knowledge about ground realities of the most emotive and sensitive issues in regards to TAH on the first week of this month”, Ribia informed.

“It’s good to see our people’s response in the re-verification process of Trans Arunachal Highway in Ziro -Hapoli Valley. I have requested the Fact Finding Committee to deliver justice to genuine land affected people as per norms impartially with complete transparency and  to avoid further complications in future”, he added further.

It must be mentioned here that The most ambitious project of the state, the Trans Arunachal Highway (TAH) corridors from West to east Arunachal Pradesh has been delayed for more than a decade due to various reasons. There is unrest among common people out of frustration for the incompletion of the said dream project. The project turned was mired  by SCAM and money meant for genuine land  affected people have been siphoned off by few individuals, becoming a further cause for delay.

  1. Even our lower dibang valley also same issue stretch roing-meka upto balijan TAH…. The land affected where not get compensation from since 10 years… etc etc etc
