Paying his respect to Late Talom Rukbo, the founder of Indigenous faiths movement in the State, the Governor said that Late Rukbo was the Light of Arunachal Pradesh
The Governor said that in the best traditions of the Indigenous faiths great onus thus lies on the faith believers to promote all-round amity, cooperation and coexistence in the State. He advised the people to welcome those members of the communities who have distanced themselves. The Governor emphasised that they have also the responsibility to safeguard the rich cultural values of the tribes of the entire State,.
The Governor suggested the people to develop their own script to propagate their indigenous cultural heritage, traditions and customs.
Indigenous Faith and Cultural Society of Arunachal Pradesh (IFCSAP) Secretary Shri Bai Taba also spoke on the occasion.
