Arunachal: Decomposed body of man retrieved from Palin River

The decomposed  body of a man was spotted in Palin river on Saturday which was retrieved by Palin police on Sunday.

A decomposed unidentified body of a man was spotted by locals in Palin river around 10 Kilometers from Palin township in Kra Daadi distract on Saturday.  It was retrieved today by the Palin police.

Palin, Dy SP Kalom Pait inform that the body was first spotted by local who later inform the police and today the police team from Palin police station retrieved the body and legal formalities are being done.

The body was semi decomposed. In first instances it was unknown but later the name of the deceased was known as Jagu Munda, aged around 56 years.

As per the locals statements it is assume that he was sick and may have fell there and died on the spot due to ill health.

There is no relative and friend who is known to the deceased. However information have been flashed to all around the district and adjoining district for further information. He said.

There was no fault play found on the decease body. A case of unnatural death have been registered Vide Palin PS Case No-01/19 u/s-174 CrPc. The body has kept in the PHC morgue here and last rite will be conducted as per law. Pait added.
