Arunachal: CS Visits West Kameng and Tawang districts
At Tawang, he visited the Bumla Pass and interacted with the Indian Army troops. He also interacted with the tourists, who thronged the Bumla Pass in large numbers and reviewed amenities that were available for the tourists at Bumla.

Arunachal Pradesh Chief Secretary Mr Naresh Kumar undertook a whirlwind tour of West Kameng and Tawang districts from 6th to 10th Oct,2019.
At Tawang, he visited the Bumla Pass and interacted with the Indian Army troops. He also interacted with the tourists, who thronged the Bumla Pass in large numbers and reviewed amenities that were available for the tourists at Bumla.
He visited the Tsachu Hot spring water, the Holy Chumey Gyasar falls, Mago village during the trip. At mago, he visited Govt Pry School, Mago Hydel and interacted with the villagers. The villagers at Mago requested the Chief Secretary for sanctioning one Fair Price Shop, sanction for additional turbine to be commissioned in the power house. He also reviewed progress of BADP Schemes at Mago village under Chief Secretary’s discretionary fund .
The Chief Secretary directed the EE RWD, who was present at the location to put extra efforts to complete the Mago-Thingbu PMGSY Road at the earliest. During the last leg of his visit, he visited the Dorjee Khandu Memorial Museum, Jamtse Gatsel Children’s Community at Lumla and interacted with faculty and children of the institute.
He expressed satisfaction and happiness at the Yeoman’s service being rendered by Director of the institute Mr Lobsang Phuntsok and assured him to provide his full support to the institute in both personal and official capacity.
Earlier, he was accorded a warm welcome at Tawang by all the officers and staff. DC, Tawang made a power point presentation on Tawang and district and overview of the developmental activities being undertaken in Tawang district by various departments.
He visited the proposed sites for airport, railway survey office, etc at Tawang. He asked the DC, Tawang to explore feasibility of harnessing wind or solar energy at Bumla Pass and put up public conveniences at all important tourist places.
He implored the DC, Tawang to make Tawang district as the most tourist friendly and cleanest district in the country. Apart from the district administration, army, ITBP, GREF accorded warm reception and hospitality during his visit to the district. Parthibhan, Secretary( Health ), DC, Tawang, SP, Tawang, ADC, PD, tawang, EE(RWD), EAC, Thinbu, accompanied the Chief Secretary during tour.
