Arunachal: Awareness program on childline held at Oju Mission child care unit

A one day awareness program on childline cum cultural extravaganza was conducted at Oju Mission child care unit by the student’s social work trainees of Himalayan University under the banner of childline, itanagar and Child welfare committee today.
The main objective of the program was to make them aware about the facilities of 1098 which is a universal toll free number of childline services as well as an awareness on good and bad touch and danger stranger.
The program was conducted through cultural activities such as skits, dances and songs by both the trainees and participants.
All together 50 participants including the staffs of Childline, oju mission and teaching faculties from Himalayan University took an active participation in the program.
