4 Apprehended with Contraband substances in Arunachal and Assam
In two different places, police in Namsai (Arunachal Pradesh) and Dibrugarh ( Assam ) apprehended 4 persons with contraband substances.

in a joint patrolling of Namsai Police and a team of C-COY Namsai 186 BN CRPF on last Sunday ( 28th July ), apprehended one person with contraband substances.
The arrested person identified as Chow Bitakung Munglang, resident of Nanam Khampti Village . Police recovered 20 small polythene packets containing pink coloured powder suspected to be contraband substances weighing approximately 50 gms,31 numbers of opium smeared clothes weihing aproxmately 500gms and cash amount rupees 52,140 suspected to be the proceed.
A regular case has been registered vide Nms PS C/NO. 43/19 U/S 21(b)/17(b)NDPS ACT.
In an another incident in Assam on Monday, Dibrugarh police has arrested 3 students namely Javed Rahman (19yrs), Imran Ali (17yrs) and Bhairab Das (19yrs) and seized 100 gms of brown sugar from their possession.
