A schoolboy was killed in a road accident when a Maruti Swift bearing Registration No. AR 03 4507 hit him, and his father injured at medical colony this morning in Tawang.
Tawang SP Sagar Singh Kalsi inform that a road accident which took place at Medical colony today at around 10.20 AM in which a boy of aged around 11 Years was critically injured when a Maruti Swift car bearing registration NO- AR 03 4507 hit him. The boy was immediately rushed to the nearby district hospital where he succumbed to injuries.
The deceased child was identified as Damchin Tsering son of Tashi Tsering of Luguthang, The boy was going to District hospital Tawang for treatment accompanied by his father Tashi Tsering when the tragic incident took place. The father of the deceased was also injured and admitted at the district hospital and under treatment. He said.

The driver of the ill fated Maruti Swift Car was identified as former ADC Lobsang Phuntso has been detained the Tawang police station. Further legal formalities is being done. SP added.
