Arunachal: New SBI Branch inaugurated at Kimin
Since one ATM is already exist in ITBP area and another two ATM will be installed in the towns for customer convenient and banking transaction.

The 61st branch of State Bank of India (SBI) inaugurated today amid huge gathering of HODs, former PRI leaders, GBs and locals here at the Kimin, the circle administrative headquarter of Papum Pare district.
Addressing the gathering SBI, North East Circle, Network-1, General Manager Sudhir Kumar Sharma said that it was a long felt dream of the people of the area for the SBI branch, though it was under active consideration for last two years but due to some technical problem it was delayed.
The bank shall deliver all its best services to its customers and also try its best effort to serve the people of the area in its best possible way. He sought support from the local administration and senior citizens and well wishers for smooth functioning of the bank.
SBI family is the largest family in the banking sector, around five branch are likely to be opened in state in coming six month. We want to educate the customers for digital banking so that the customers can carry out the banking activities and transaction digitally from their home.

Referring to several ATM remain defunct, damaged and many ATM need maintenance and repairing, Sharma said that bank is a public property which need to be maintained and handled properly.
Sometime ATM do not work due to several reasons, however he assured to repair and renovate the those ATM soon.
Referring to demand for ATM at Naharlaugn Railway station. Sharma informed that we will send officer to study the feasibility for installation of ATM at Railway station and soon bring a solution after proposal from the authority.
Local leader Bamang Mangha while thanking the SBI authority for inaugurating the SBI branch at Kimin. He said that we have been pursuing the matter from pillar to post. After lots of persuasion the state government led by Chief Minister Pema Khandu have last assured the people of Kimin to give a branch of SBI.
He assured public cooperation for the smooth functioning of this SBI branch. He also appeal the SBI authority for support to the desired and needy people in providing of bank loans and support to various locals in several CSS to the beneficiaries.
