Arunachal: Gao lays foundation stone of BJP Zonal office at GTC

State BJP president Tapir Gao laid the foundation stone at GTC near Siang river bank on Monday for the party’s zonal office for five districts, East Siang, Upper Siang, Siang, Lower Siang and Lower Dibang Valley.
He was accompanied by Power Minister Tamiyo Taga, Health Minister Alo Libang, and a host of BJP MLAs and leaders.
The East Siang district BJP arranged the plot at the GTC area for setting up the Siang zonal office. It has submitted an estimate of Rs 3.75 crore for building and other construction works, which awaits sanction.
Speaking on the occasion Gao said the “The zonal offices will facilitate party workers in maintaining better coordination among different district committees at the time of elections,” .
The party leaders had laid the foundation stones for the Kameng and the Subansiri zonal offices last month, and are planning to do the same in Lohit and Tirap this month.
When asked about the readiness of BJP for 2019 election, Gao confidently exhorted that BJP will win the coming election comfortably without any hurdles.
