Arunachal: District Administration sponsors Aspirant candidates for army recruitment rally

Additional Deputy Commissioner of Longding ,  Tage Ekke  on Wednesday flag off the aspirant youths of Longding to take part in the Army Recruitment Rally being held at Jairampur. It is the second occasion when the District Administration sponsors the aspirant from Longding district for the rally.

Flagging off the rally the ADC Tage Ekke state that the enthusiasm shown by youth of Longding for participation in army recruitment rallies was a positive sign for this insurgency affected district.

The District Administration  as well as Indian army has sensitize and mobilize the villagers and youths exceptionally well this time and as a result, the response of the youths has been overwhelming. As many as 215 aspirant were registered online, and many others were unfortunately rejected due to improper documents.

The nodal officer of the Indian army who was present during the flag off program informed that Indian army this time has put on every effort to ensure that maximum youths from the district are recruited in the ensuing rally. “There is not much of a complains about physical fitness of our youths out here, but they are academically very weak” he said.

We have not only helped them in online registration but also has done proper screening on physical fitness test as par with recruitment rules of Indian Army, and are satisfied with the outcome. We are hopeful of maximum selection from this insurgency infected area of Longding district this time, the officer added.

Besides, the enthusiasm shown by the youths to join Indian army were very encouraging and the general public of Longding district has all the praise for the noble initiative taken up by the administration.

The DC Longding in his message appeal the youths to be very sincere and serious during the process of recruitment rally and come back successfully. He made special mentioned of the hard work and sincere effort shown by the Indian Army for the youths  from day one of the program. The convoy of as many as 9 mini buses were arranged by the district administration to transports the aspirant candidates from Longding and Kanubari area.
