Arunachal: Nyishi Elite Society felicitates meritorious students
On the occasion, Chyangtajo MLA Hayang Mangfi, Tali MLA Jikke Tago, NES President Bengia Tolum and other dignitaries were present on the award ceremony.

The Nyishi Elite Society (NES) on Tuesday felicitated meritorious students and newly elected and promoted officers of the community here at Dera Natung Government College, Auditorium.
At the XV NES Academic Excellence and Professional Achievers Award 2019 cum interactive programme with newly appointed and promoted officers, 17 meritorious students and 84 achievers were felicitated.
Home Minister Bamang Felix who attended the award ceremony felicitated Toko Bittam for clearing JEE Advance (IIT) with 273 Ranks and for topping among the community in the Class XII (Science) with 94.8 %.
Twin brothers, Tadar Neeb and Tadar Kul were felicitated for clearing the JEE Advance (IIT) securing 295 rank and 304 rank respectively.
Also, Toko Tushar, Martina Tadar Alphonsa and Tadar Ane were felicitated for clearing NEET (MBBS) exam.
In Class X category, Nido with 95.60%, Nabam Jermin with 95% and Gollo Ninu with 94.6% were felicitated as first, second and third toppers respectively.
For Class XII category in Science stream, Toko Bittam was felicitated as topper from the community with 94.8%, followed by Gungte Roshni with 94.6% and Bamang Aming with 93.2% respectively. In Commerce stream, Trah Gungte was felicitated as topper from the community with 94.6%, followed Hari Tuki with 86.2% and Donyi Camdir Tok with 84.6% respectively. Whereas, in Humanities stream, Yasi Nabam with 95.6%, Toko Tato with 94.8% and Tadar Achal with 92.6% were also felicitated as first, second and third topper respectively.
Heri Maring, General Secretary NES advised the gathering to work for the welfare of the society and to put individual efforts to bring development in a society.
“Do not wait for MLAs or leaders to bring development, but put up an effort on how you can change the society with your little actions and how you can inspire people with a good deed,” he added.
Congratulating the awardees, he asked to work hard and continue to perform and make the society proud.
