Arunachal: Hundreds stranded due to landslide on Hoj-Sagalee road

Hundreds of vehicle stranded on Hoj-Sagalee road in Arunachal Pradesh due to landslide triggered by the heavy downpour near Kheel under Toru Circle of Sagalee Sub-division today early morning.
The commuters of Sagalee, Pakke-Kessang and Seppa who prefer the road Papu-Doimukh-Hoj-Sagalee road got trapped when the landslide near Kheel blocked the Hoj-Sagalee road around 3 Km ahead of Kheel at around 6.30 morning and no one was there to look after the road clearance for more than two hours. Later a loader of M/s Sushee company (construction agency) cleared the debris and make through the road for the vehicle to go to their destination.
Commuters however demanded for road opening party (ROP) on daily basis by the company and also in case of emergency during the rainy days
Sushe Company Team leader Ram Sagar stationed in Toru area informed this daily over phone that we usually cleared road every day but we were not informed bout today incident and due to which it have been delayed.
