Kokrajhar- Mahurat of new Bodo film ‘Gwswa Maniya’ takes place

The ‘Mahurat’ of new Bodo film “Gwswa Maniya” was held at Paglababa Mandir premises, Kokrajhar on Wednesday.
Produced by R.A.S Film Productions, Kokrajhar, the film is directed by Chirag Baglary and scripted by journalist Ajit Kr. Basumatary.
The cast includes Geolang, Bobita, Degarsingh, Bikash (Laloo), Chila, Durga, Gunobati (Dangkhwl), Rajib, Dilip (Sadhu), Dhana, Abinash and Maoswm etc.
The Council Head of Department (CHD), Information & Public Relations (IPR), BTC Ansuma Mohilary attended the Mahurat function as chief guest and clicked the first take of the film. Mohilary expressed hope that the film will get wide appreciation from the public.
The film script writer Ajit Kr. Basumatary said the film is a social drama with a strong social message on the present society. The shooting of the film will be held in different locations including in and around Kokrajhar and neighbouring places as well.
The film Director Chiraj Baglary is confident that the film will be liked by the audience like his earlier films under his directions. “Gwswa Maniya” is his 11th film directed by him.
