Arunachal: Lining 10th Chief Minister Veteran and Sub-Veteran State Badminton Championship 2023 concludes
ZIRO- The Li Ning 10th Chief Minister Veteran and Sub-Veteran State Badminton Championship 2023 concluded on November 25th, in Ziro, leaving fans and participants alike with memories of thrilling matches and competitive camaraderie. Organised by the Lower Subansiri Badminton Association (LSBA) under the aegis of the Arunachal Badminton Association (ASBA) and hosted by the Ziro Badminton Club (ZBC), the event lived up to its promise of delivering top-notch badminton action.
The inauguration ceremony, held on November 22nd, was graced by the presence of Puna Hinda, Managing Director of M/s PH Construction, as the Chief Guest, and Nilly Likha Tabo, ZPM Pistana Zilla Segment, 16 Yachuli Assembly Constituency, as the Guest of Honour. The ceremony set the stage for a competition that brought together 206 participants from 21 districts, all vying for glory across various categories, including Men’s Singles, Men’s Doubles, Mixed Doubles, Women’s Singles, and Women’s Doubles in age groups ranging from 35+ to 55+.
The closing ceremony, held with great enthusiasm was graced by Likha Maj, former Chairman of the Rubber Board and Managing Director of Green Gold, as the Chief Guest and Keni Bagra, APPS, SP Lower Subansiri, as the Guest of Honour. The ceremony was a fitting tribute to the winners who emerged victorious in their respective categories.

The tournament, conducted under the Chairmanship of Er. N. L. Togu and Hano Hailang as the Organising Secretary, was deemed a resounding success, showcasing not only the athletic prowess of the participants but also the spirit of sportsmanship that prevailed throughout the event.
The honorary General Secretary of ASBA Bamang Tago expressed his content over the success of the tournament and wanted more such tournaments to be held at Ziro.
