Arunachal: 132 KV Transmission Line to be restored very soon

The restoration work of 132 KV Grid Line after 17 (seventeen) days of breakdown is expected to be completed within a day or two, inform the sources from Power Dept.

The Lohit, Namsai, Dibang and Lower Dibang Valley districts reeled under acute power crisis since 13th July last however the ray of hope for its reinstatement has brought cheer among the consumers of these districts.
These entire processes of Hard work and challenging attempt to restore the collapsed tower by the power department deserves appreciation. Despite various hurdle, the department could able to materialize the work”, praises one of the consumers.
It needs to be noted here that the 132 KV Transmission line of Lohit, Namsai, Dibang and Lower Dibang Valley district were completely hit under acute crisis of power supply due to collapse of High Tension Tower No. 43 of the 132 KV Line at Babuk village on 16th July in between Pasighat and Pangin triggered by heavy landslides.
