Mein also informed that the 51 ft statue of Sage Parshuram will be unveiled in the month of January right after the PKF – 24. He also assured to provide Grants-in-Aid for the Parshuram Kund. The statue is being donated by VIPRA Foundation.
Meanwhile, Founding Member of the VIPRA Foundation, Sushil Ojha, informed that the Piling works of the Foundation has been completed. The making of the statue of sage Parshuram has been completed and is expected to reach the site from Durgapur in the next 15 to 20 days, following which, the installation work will be completed by December 2023.
Mein also inspected the ongoing infrastructure project at the Parshuram Kund Pilgrimage Site constructed under the PRASAD scheme.

The upcoming festival will be hosting cultural displays and trade fairs, showcasing the indigenous cultural heritage of the land, as well as exhibition of products by local SHGs and small businesses. Strict prohibition of liquor at the food stalls will be levied and adventure activities will be planned for tourists visiting the festival. Priority will be given to effective management of ailing and elderly pilgrims, as well as ensuring round the clock upkeep of washrooms and waiting sheds and other public spaces at the festival site.
Among others, the review meeting was attended by DC Lohit, Shashvat Saurabh, HoDs, Members of Parshuram Dham Sewa Ashram Samity and Members of VIPRA Foundation.
