Pradhan Mantri Awaas Yojana- Gramin launched in BTC

The chief of BTC Hagrama Mohilary on Thursday handed over the beneficiaries’ under the Centre’s flagship housing scheme ‘Pradhan Mantri Awaas Yojana-Gramin (PMAY-G)’ at a ceremonial programme at Titaguri in Kokrajhar.
The scheme is aimed at ensuring homes for the people in rural areas by 2022. Under the scheme the Centre is aiming to construct more than 2 crore houses by 2022 for families from lower income groups and economically weaker sections, which will be supplemented with power, water and LPG connections.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi in November had launched flagship housing scheme ‘Pradhan Mantri Gramin Awas Yojna,’ designed entirely for the rural masses.
The BTC chief Hagrama Mohilary thanks Prime minster Narendra Modi for the scheme for the benefit of rural masses. Mohilary also said the BTC administration is launching Bodoland Awwas Yojana in the line of PMAY to the poor people without ID number.
BTC executive member Dhaneswar Goyary, ex-BTC executive member Derhasat Basumatary was also present in the programme.
