“Art Of Living ” for Sentinel of Borders

In order to fight with tremendous monotony and pressure augmented with hardship for more than two third of a day in routine of BSF Jawans, Meghalaya Frontier organizing a four day YOGA CAMP in co-ordination with co-ordinators of “Art of living” Foundation, Shillong for Sentinel of Borders.
The Border men had to live in extreme conditions at the remotest parts of the countries in tremendous and hostile conditions fighting with enemy from inside and across the border. The BSF is guarding International Border, deployed in far-flung and isolated areas doing round the clock duty away from families. Yoga camps may play a vital role in breaking their monotony and reduce stress .
Sh. P K Dutta, programme co-ordinator and other instructors delivered lecture on “Art of Living”. Various useful `Asanas’ are being performed during one hour schedule at Umpling campus by the participants in supervision of instructors. The camp being organized to prang to relief from extra stress of Bordermen.
Officers, subordinate officers and other ranks are getting benefitted through the camp. “Such camps will not only lower the stress and motivate troops but also rejuvinate us for our duties” said BSF PRO.
