Arunachal: Mutchu Mithi’s PSO dies in road accident in Roing

The PSO Yordung who was in the Hyundai Eon vehicle succumbed to his injures.

Law maker Mutchu Mithi’s Personal security officer (PSO) Tato Yordung, died in a tragic road accident in Meka area of Lower Dibang valley on Monday evening, inform Dibang Valley Police sources.

Dy. SP (HQ) Ringu Ngupok inform that it was a tragic road accident at around 5.30 to 6 PM in Meka area, around 4 Kilometer from the district headquarter Roing on Monday evening. The accident involved one Toyota Fortunes bearing registration No- AR 10 1233 and Hyundai Eon bearing registration No- AR 16 9692.

The PSO Yordung who was in the Hyundai Eon vehicle succumbed to his injures. Today the body has been handed over to the family members for conducting last rite. Dy. SP said.

On receipt of information the Roing police visited the place of occurrences and a case has been registered vide Roing police station Case No- 79/2019 u/s- 279, 304 (A) IPC  and has launched investigation. After conducting legal formalities the body was kept in the morgue.

He said the Dibang Valley police today conducted a condolence programme at SP office and all the members of police and security today paid deep condolences to the departed soul to rest in peace. Last rite is expected to be held on Wednesday at Roing. Dy. SP added.

Meanwhile Lawmaker Mutchu Mithi from New Delhi over phone have paid deep tribute and condolences to the departed soul to rest in peace. In a message, Mithi said that ‘ Almighty god give enough strength to the bereaved family at the crucial period’.

Mithi inform that Late Yordung was his PSO and was attached with him since last four years. He was a hardworking and dedicated government servant. He will be remembered for his simple living and soft spoken. Mithi added.
