The event was inaugurated with the traditional lighting of the lamp by Dr. K. Karthikeyan, the esteemed Registrar of Himalayan University.

The event opened with a warm welcome speech delivered by Mr. Rashidul Alam, Assistant Professor in the Department of Civil Engineering.
