Speaking on the concept of the organising the festival, festival secretary Basang Wahge informed that it is a festival which celebrates the spirit of conservation with a motto to promote protection of wild life specially the Hornbill which is the state bird.
Basang, while addressing a press conference at Arunachal Press Club here, today informed that after the announcement of the said festival in State calendar events list we are organising first time.

Last many year for research, researchers and conservationists of the Nature Conservation Foundation visiting Pakke Tiger Reserve forest and adopted hornbill nests, and gradually the local residents there followed suit. He also informed that at present there are more than 20 nest adopted.
To stop the sound and noise pollution this year we have strictly maintaining the system and we have issue necessary direction that no private DJ and sound system will be allowed to blow in huge volume and the committee will regulate the system even for maintaining cleanliness and traditional competition and other competitive events.
So far three hundred bird species, 270 trees species and several place of watching in the forest which are likes by the person who are nature lovers and appeal one and all to visit Seijosa and enjoy the festival as well as forest with several activities.
