Arunachal: Four Houses Gutted in Fire at Parong-II Kinne
Fire broke out at Parong-II Kinne village under Riga Circle in Siang district on Monday evening, gutting four residential houses, with no loss of life reported.

BOLENG- A fire mishap at Parong-II Kinne village under Riga Circle in Siang district on January 27 led to the complete destruction of four residential houses, officials said.
The incident occurred at around 4:50 pm. Upon receiving information, a fire brigade team from Geku was immediately dispatched to the site and initiated firefighting operations to contain the blaze and prevent it from spreading further.

Senior district officials, including Siang Deputy Commissioner Tayi Taggu, Additional Commissioner of Riga Philip Jerang, and the Officer-in-Charge of Boleng Police Station, visited the affected area to assess the damage and supervise relief measures.

According to the district administration, immediate relief was provided to the affected families in accordance with existing norms. Authorities confirmed that no casualties or injuries were reported in the incident.

The cause of the fire has not been officially stated, and further assessment of losses is underway. Fire incidents remain a recurring concern in rural areas of the state, where houses are often constructed with flammable materials and access to emergency services can be limited.
