Arunachal: PMGSY review meeting for five Districts held at Ziro

The meeting was held to take stock of the progress of various Prime Minister’s Gram Sadak Yojna (PMGSY) works under these districts.

ZIRO-   The Rural Works Circle, Yachuli organized a review meeting for the five Districts of Lower Subansiri, Kamle, Upper Subansiri, Kra Daadi and Kurung Kumey at Golden Jubilee conference hall of District Secretariat here today.

The meeting was held to take stock of the progress of various Prime Minister’s Gram Sadak Yojna (PMGSY) works under these districts.

The meeting was chaired by RWD Minister Honchun Ngandam, Agriculture and Allied Minister Tage Taki and attended by RWD Secretary Nitu Tsering Glow, DC Ziro Bamin Nime, Chief Engineer (PMGSY) Nyai Rigia, RWD engineers of all five districts and contractors.

  Both ministers appreciated the hard work of engineers and contractors who had been hard pressed to complete all the ongoing PMGSY works by March 2024. They further advised all the stake holders to work out a feasible working plan to ensure completion of the balance stretch of road work within the stipulated timeline set by MoRD, Govt. of India.

During the meeting, an interaction session was also held between the executing agency and the contractors to motivate and boost the morale of the contractors for early completion of the remaining works.
