Dr Mohesh Chai ( BJP ) Karikho Kri (Ind) and Nuney Tayang (NCP) are facing Triangular fight in 44th Tezu – Sunpura Assembly Constituency in Assembly Elections.

Altogether 3 (three) candidates are in the fray for the 44th Tezu – Sunpura Constituency, Dr Mohesh Chai sitting Minister from BJP, Karikho Kri former two termed MLA as Independent Candidate and Nuney Tayang of National Congress Party.
Returning officer K Karmakar administered the oath of affirmation to all the contesting candidates.
Over 18540 electorates including 9429 males and 9111 females will decide the destiny of these candidates through a franchise to be held on April 11 next.
The Total 35 (thirty five) polling stations will be set up at various allotted areas of the constituency to ensure free, fair and smooth election. Vedagam is the remotest polling station of this Constituency in Lohit district.
Prince Dhawan (IAS) DC cum DEO Lohit and his team have been univocally working around the clock to ensure proper enforcement of Model Code of Conduct (MCC) and to avoid any violence for free and fair election on April 11 next.
