Arunachal:  Abo-Tani Mega Festival Concludes

Sonam was addressing the six day 3rd Abo-Tani mega festival concluding function here at Nikum Niya festival celebration ground today. The festival organised by All Arunachal Abo-Tani Association (AAATA).

Sonam said that main motive and agenda of many organisation/association/union formation have not been implemented which would affect the development of the society.

We need to judge ourselves that what is right and wrong for the society and what is exactly needed for the development of community and state and emphasis that bandh culture have never given a result rather there are many way and means to protest for and show and put  demand before the government.

He requested AAATA executive members to take up action plan for upliftment of orphans, destitute, widow, persona in distress and also organise social awareness programme, medical camps, blood donation camp so that the society also recognise the activities of the organisation and would be a work of god.

Speaking on memorandum submitted by the committee Sonam said that he would take up the issue at proper platform for declaration of 10th January as Abotani Day.

Guest of Honour Nyishi Elite Students Association of Arunachal Pradesh (NESA) Vice President Bharat Cheda said that every festival gives us a message for unification of members of community. Festival provide an opportunity to celebrate for unity and brotherhood and communal harmony.

Cheda said that religion have nothing to do with social works and appeal the youths to take up social works for community development as well as development of tribes and state.

Abo Tani Mega festival-2018 Organising Chairman Maji Tayum, Organising Secretary Nabam Tagar also address the concluding function.

The six day programme which include sporting competition, cultural competition of traditional and modern song and dances, food stall and for competition among the stalls.
