The ‘Asthi Kalash’ of former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee will arrive Naharlagun on Thursday for immersion in Parshuram Kund.

The state BJP president Tapir Gao will arrive at Naharlagun Helipad on Thursday with the ashes of former prime minister Atal Behari Vajpayee 3 pm from New Delhi on 23 August.
The pot containing the ashes of the former prime minister will be brought from the helipad to the state BJP office where a condolence meeting is being organized by the state BJP to pay homage to the departed leader.
All the ministers, MLAs, senior leaders, state office bearers and party workers are expected to attend.
From the BJP office, the ashes will be taken to the Dorjee Khandu Convention Center, where a condolence meeting will be organized by the Government of Arunachal Pradesh from 5 pm for paying last respect to the departed leader.
While a Congress delegation led by APCC vice president Rajan Nani will join the condolence meeting.
The ashes will be flown to Parshuram Kund for immersion at the holy site On Friday, 24 Augus,.
