Arunachal: PLUS projects launches at CHC Balijan
On the inaugural day of PLUS project at CHC Balijan 15 pregnant women beneficiaries registered and availed the benefit .

A team of PLUS project ( Precious Lives Under Safety) of Papum Pare district led by DRCHO Dr. Worar Taku, Dr. Tana Natung Nodal Officer CH-cum-District Nodal Officer PLUS Project launched PLUS project at CHC Balijan today on Tuesday. During the programme the pregnant women were sensitise on PLUS projects and its benefits.
Altogether 15 pregnant women beneficiaries registered and availed the benefit of the programme.
PLUS project is an innovative project of Govt of Arunachal Pradesh to reduce rate of the Infant Mortality Rate and Maternal Mortality Rate in the state and to encourage more and more institutional delivery in all health facility.
The objective of the PLUS is to ensure quality health service like ANC visit by Specialist, identification, tracking and timely intervention, ensure the provision of JSY,JSSK and PMSMA and to reduce out of Pocket Expenditure of Pregnant Women. PLUS project will also provide multi facility single window camps in convergence with Women and Child Development, banks, AADHAR, CMAAY and PMJAY.
Among others present were MO I/C Dr. Taw Mala, CDPO Mrs. Nelo Umbrey,DPM –cum-Block Nodal Officer PLUS Project Mrs Dugyir A Padu, DDM, DCM, Staff Nurses, ASHAs, AWWs, Bank and Aadhar registrations officials, AFs and staff of CHC Balijan.
