Robin Hibu IPS of Arunachal Pradesh promoted to special commissioner of police in Delhi

First IPS officer from Arunachal Pradesh, Robin Hibu has been promoted as ADGP/special commissioner of police Delhi.
Hibu, a 1993 AGMUT cadre, was serving as IGP at Rashtrapati Bhavan. He is also the founder cum president of ‘Helping Hands’, a charitable organization catering to the needs of the North Eastern people living outside their state.
Talking to Arunachal24 Robin said “I dared to dream to wear the prestigious rank of DGP or General with shining National Emblem of Ashoka’s Lion along with crossed Baton and Sword on my both shoulders, which is the highest decoration of promotion for any IPS officer. Today, my childhood dream has been fulfilled, as i got promotion from Govt of India . Grateful to the govt for the promotion in such high ranking status”.
“My travesty to this highest rank promotion had been arduous/ perilous but very satisfying journey in serving my country, United Nation and tiny bit of social work for distress fellow brethren”, Robin said.
“After seeking blessing at Samadhi of Mahatma Gandhi at Rajghat, New Delhi….. Looking forward enthusiastically to give my best remaining 10 years of career as IPS officer for my country and for fellow distress folks specially youth from north eastern states in cities …..”.
